Facilities
In our workshop our experienced team uses both conventional lathes and modified machinery, including centreless grinding machines, internal grinding machines, drilling and milling equipment to create bearings of all specifications. Recently, the workshop has undergone a series of changes that will enable us to increase our capacity whilst maintaining the quick shipment and quality standards our customers are used to.
Manufacturing optimisation projects aimed at constantly improving our manufacturing methods in line with technical advances have become a standard team procedure.
Modern, high feed, efficient tooling is being introduced in conjunction with precision machinery such as the CNC XYZ1630 Lathe which will ensure we can do everything possible to respond to the ever increasing demand for reduced lead times from our customers.
Our team of knowledgeable engineers, from apprentice level to seasoned Plant Engineers with 40+ years’ experience in engineering, have a vast knowledge of bearing manufacture. This experience plus our extensive tooling means we routinely manufacture:
- Special flute shapes/patterns (from straight flutes to left/right start spiral flutes)
- Special profile shells
- Grooves
- Chamfers
- Keyways
- Flanges
- Externally cut screw threads
